The Charter School Lenders' Coalition (CSLC) is a collaboration of mission-driven, community development organizations working to improve the lives of people living in economically distressed communities.  Increasing access to a high quality education is a successful strategy to support the economic advancement of youth and end the cycle of poverty. CSLC members help expand the availability of educational options for the development of charter schools in low-income communities.  To date, the CSLC has financed the construction of over 300 charter schools in dozens of states.  In addition, our members actively advocate for public policy changes that support charter schools' efforts to build and strengthen communities. 

CSLC Members   

The coalition includes community development financial institutions (CDFIs) and other private, non-profit organizations who are pioneers in the financing of public charter school facilities. Learn more about membership and our member organizations.
